In this watercolor, I explore the shape of a lemon through planes and subtle construction lines. These lines cross the space and organize the composition around the fruit. I enjoy observing simple objects and revealing their quiet structure. Between the spontaneity of watercolor and a search for balance, I let the color move freely so that light and pigment reveal the silent presence of the fruit.
