In this watercolor, I explore the simple form of an orange by gently breaking it into planes and lines. The construction lines pass through the fruit like a light architecture, guiding the eye across the composition. I enjoy painting everyday fruits to reveal their hidden structure. Between observation and interpretation, I search for a balance between the spontaneity of watercolor and a quiet geometric order.
